Penetrating limits...

Once you are ready for a change, you can get to the nearest resort in Brazil. Only 11 km from the frontier cities Chuy, in the other side of the creek, there is The Ecology Seaside Resort of “Alvorada” ;150 meters away from where the Uruguayan Route 9 and the Brazilian Road (BR that goes to Pelotas and Porto Alegre) meet... you turn to the right and you'll find a straight narrow path. Take this path and in only 7 minutes you will be in the Brazilian "Barra do Chui". You come up to where the Military brigade is located, There you have options:

 

-1 :  towards Brazil, you turn to the left
-2: towards Uruguay, you turn to the right.
 

If you decide for the option 1… you keep going on Rúa Hermenegildo. Cross the bridge over the stream and keep going until you pass several stores. Then, you will get to another paradise called

Alvorada with its beautiful beaches.
